Welcome to the Journey to Easter!
Have you ever gone on a long trip? Another word for a trip is a journey. That’s what the Church Season of Lent is all about… a journey for us to become closer to Jesus. It’s time for us to look at the good things we do to honor God and how to change the not-so-good things we do in our lives. The end of the Lenten journey brings us to Easter Sunday – a celebration of how much God loves us as we learn about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! We’re excited to be on this Journey to Easter with you!
We have many events planned for our journey, but first you will need to print out this Journey to Easter Passport (38). Each time you come to one of our Lenten events (including weekly Mass) you will earn a stamp for your passport (stamp located at the back of the Church). By the time Easter arrives your passport should be filled. You can bring your passport filled with at least 8 stamps to the Religious Ed Office and trade it for a special Easter Prize.
Please join us for our Children's Liturgies (37) at 9:00 am on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Our next Children’s Liturgy will be on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Find out how you can participate in our Children’s Liturgy to make it even more special.
