Welcome to the Journey to Easter!
Have you ever gone on a long trip? Another word for a trip is a journey. That’s what the Church season of Lent is all about… a journey for us to become closer to Jesus. It’s time for us to look at the good things we do to honor God and how to change the not-so-good things we do in our lives. The end of our Lenten Journey brings us to Easter Sunday – a celebration of how much God loves us as we learn about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! We’re excited to be on this Journey to Easter with you!
We have many events planned for our journey. You can see the list below. Each time you come to one of our Lenten events you will earn a stamp for your passport. By the time Easter arrives your Journey to Easter Passport should be filled with stamps. You can bring your passport filled with at least 10 stamps to the Religious Ed Office and trade it for a special Easter prize.
