New and Gently Used shoes are now being accepted!  EACH PAIR OF SHOES MUST BE PLACED IN IT’S OWN BAG.  Thank you!

Soles4Souls is an international non-profit that has distributed more than 30 million pairs of new and used shoes in 127 countries.  Soles4Souls creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing.  767 million around the world live on less than $1.90 a day; half are children.  Many don’t have access to a steady income and don’t have the ability to provide basic necessities for themselves or their family.  The shoes you no longer want, create opportunities many need.

It is estimated that the average U.S. citizen throws away 70 pounds of textiles every year.  Sole4Souls can repurpose your new and gently worn shoes and help create a real source of sustainable income for families living in poverty.  Sole4Souls’ micro-enterprise model provides people living in deep poverty in developing nations the opportunity to start and sustain small businesses selling shoes.  Donated shoes act as a resource to help entrepreneurs generate income to provide for themselves and their families.

Soles4Souls generates funds from selling gently worn shoes, keeping the organization sustainable too.  This helps provide new shoes to those in need in poverty around the world and in the US.   They work with more than 1,200 non-profit partners to provide shoes to people in need and in times of disaster.

A new pair of shoes provides dignity to those in need.

Donation bins are located in the back of the church and on the rectory porch during the month of September.  If you have any questions, please contact Anne:
